kitchen logic

If you want to make buttermilk ice cream, you will have a dozen leftover egg whites. So then you'll decide to make angel food cake, which is oversold as a fat-free dessert. Of course you will start thinking that cake would be delicious with buttermilk ice cream.

Also, you might not own a tube pan (nor really want a tube pan) and decide it might be fine to try a silicone bundt pan instead. Inadvisable. We may be having angel food french toast for breakfast tomorrow.

Well...it all sounds good to me.

See, it would never have occurred to me that a bundt pan would cause trouble. However, angel food French toast sounds excellent and perhaps worth the experiment in and of itself.

I also would have thought it'd make no difference.

Oooops. Didn't you register for a tube pan? Or, you could take those whites and make the cinnamon sugar nuts that I eat by the hand full.

That sounds good. Can I come over? Way better than my cracklin' oat bran and skim. ;)
