words of love

During our ceremony, two of our friends (a happily married couple) will read letters that DJ and I have written to/about each other. She will read what I wrote, he will read what DJ wrote. We are not sharing our letters with each other before the ceremony, so it might be a very nice and genuine moment.

But then we had this discussion over e-mail.

Me: I’m excited to hear what you wrote. Unless you are going to have {friend} get up there and yell WHO FANCY NOW! Because that would be stealing my idea.
DJ: You can have “Who fancy now.” {Friend} is going to holler “Who gonna check me, boo?” and do the head shake thing that goes with it.

We are a very romantic couple.

Um, I'm having a hard time picturing us being able to do this justice.

Don't worry, Jules, I got this. Workin' on my head shake.

You guys can practice at the rehearsal to make sure you have it down. Dan, the way my handwriting is, you may have to freestyle a bit anyway. No pressure or anything.

Will I wish I had a video camera?

Also, bad news, I have the flu. Trying with all my might to get better quickly. I am functional, just not at the top of my game.

It's going to be so beautiful--I can't wait to hear about it and see the pictures.

In other news, my laundry service delivered someone else's underwear mixed in with mine, and I thought of you. I bet that's wrong, huh?

Cranky, that is so wrong. But I love it. People I've never met now think of me when underwear-related strange things happen.
